Tawila Island is one of the first stops on our trip, offering a truly magical kitesurfing experience. A hotel is currently under construction on the north side of the island and kiting here requires a special permit. In 2025, the government charges a substantial access fee, which is already included in your prime rate - no hidden fees.

On the south coast, a narrow sand spit extends into the turquoise waters, forming a perfect shallow bay. We anchor away from shore, and in minutes you'll be kiteboarding in the glassy, offshore wind. As always, our support zodiac is ready to help in case of any need.

The Geysum Islands are a kitesurfers dream, offering shallow, smooth waters and reef-protected lagoons with wind from the shore. Our favorite session here is a 90-minute downwind run from South Geisum to Tawila, where we ride the open sea and then hug the shallow shoreline of Tawila, followed by our zodiacs.
